NEW YORK (Nov. 4, 2009) – The Leverage Agency, one of the world’s fastest growing sports and entertainment brand marketing and sales agencies, will serve as the presenting sponsor for the Princeton Sports Symposium, which will be held on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey on Friday December 4, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Now in its fourth year, the Symposium has been the year-end highlight event for the sports industry, with over 40 senior executives discussing topics ranging from new and social media to brand sponsorship, sales and athlete and event management. This will be the second year that The Leverage Agency will be presenting sponsor. The event is FREE for current high school and college students and has a fee of $50 for professionals, which includes breakfast lunch and a day-ending reception.

Among the featured speakers for this years’ event will be Tony Ponturo, President of Ponturo Management Group and Chairman of the Leverage Agency, who will deliver the opening keynote address. Ponturo is one of the most successful sports and entertainment marketers of the last 25 years, having started his own firm last January after a long and distinguished career at Anheuser Bush. Other key speakers and panelists will include former Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles General Manager Roland Hemond, IMG Executive Vice President, Sports Programming Barry Frank, Breeders Cup President and CEO Greg Avioli, AVP CMO Paul Tedeschi, Top Rank President Todd deBoef, Ironman VP Bill Potts, World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack and VERSUS EVP Programming, Production and Business Operations Marc Fein among many others.
